We're Still Open for You

While our lobbies will remain closed until further notice, our drive-thru service locations will be available with the following hours during the week of March 28 – April 3.

March 28 (Sat): 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. 

March 30 – April 3 (M-F): 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. 

As a reminder, most of your transactions can be performed through Online  and Mobile  Banking services, and cash can be obtained from Allpoint ATM network  and through our Allpoint ATM network . You can also contact our Call Center at 800.231.6053 for assistance.

We're Still Open for You

It has been announced that in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 in the community, Galveston and Harris Counties have issued a “Stay at Home Order.” This order will take effect Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. through Friday, April 3, 2020 at 11:59 p.m.

AMOCO Federal Credit Union is deemed an “essential business” and will remain open to our members during this time. While our branch lobbies will remain closed, our drive-thru locations will be open this week, Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., and will continue to offer full services. Our Call Center and eBranch teams are also available to assist with loans and new accounts. Our Call Center can be reached at 800.231.6053. To apply for a loan or open a new account online, you can log in to your account through our website or our Mobile App.

Please be advised, AMOCO branch drive-thru hours have changed and will be open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. this week.

Saturday Drive-Thru Closure

In an effort to protect our employees, all AMOCO  drive-thru service locations will be closed for one day only on Saturday, March 21, for a deep cleaning and sanitation of our buildings. As a reminder, most of your transactions can be performed through Online and Mobile Banking services, loan applications can be completed through our Online Application, and cash can be obtained from AMOCO ATMs and through our Allpoint ATM Network Our Call Center and eBranch staff will be available to assist on Saturday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – Noon.  Our Call Center phone number is 800.231.6053. Drive-thru services will reopen on Monday, March 23. All branch lobbies will remain closed until further notice. Please follow our website or social media pages for updates. Branch and Lobby Updates

In an effort to reduce the risk of spreading Coronavirus (COVID-19), President Trump has asked the nation to avoid gatherings of 10 or more. To do our part, AMOCO’s management team has determined to close our Clear Lake Branch and all branch lobbies, effective Tuesday, March 17, until further notice.

This situation should not be taken lightly, and we should all do our part to keep ourselves, loved ones, and others healthy. AMOCO is still here to help you with all your financial needs, and we will get through this time together.

Lobbies may be closed, but we will continue to serve you by offering all services through our drive-thrus, call center, and eBranch.

Alvin Branch Lobby Closure

Due to staff shortage and to protect our members and employees during the COVID-19 outbreak, we have decided to temporarily close our Alvin branch lobby until further notice. Our drive-thru services will remain open during regular business hours. If you need to complete, apply, or need assistance with a loan, we can take care of that through our drive-thru. You can also call us at 800.231.6053 for assistance. Please follow our website or social media pages for updates. Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this time. To minimize the risk to employees and members:
  • Avoid unnecessary contact in social situations
  • Practice regular hand washing and sanitation
  • Stay home if you’re feeling sick

Branch Updates

Please note, that Nassau Bay City Hall and Marathon Galveston-Bay Refinery have been closed to the public or are allowing essential staff only. Due to the building closures, our branches will also be closed at these locations. The buildings are expected to be closed today until March 20, 2020.

Important Information Regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19)

AMOCO Federal Credit Union is closely monitoring Coronavirus (COVID-19) and is aware of its global impact, as well as here in the United States. Our commitment to the health and safety of our members and employees is of the utmost importance. In addition, we take our corporate citizen responsibility serious and will do our part to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

We have already taken a series of precautionary steps to minimize the risk for staff and members.

  • We have increased cleaning and sanitation at all locations.
  • We have informed and educated employees on what they can do to stay healthy, and how to stop the spread of germs.
  • We are continuously monitoring and following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

While we have implemented certain aspects of our Pandemic Contingency Plans, we want to minimize disruptions of services to our members so our branches will remain open until further notice. However, during this time, we urge members to use our drive-thru services for cash transactions, Night Drops for after-hour deposits, Online and Mobile Banking (eBranch) services, Telephone Services (Call Center and C.U.A.R.T), and also, our ATM network. Remember to sanitize or wash your hands after using an ATM. 

With the convenience of our eBranch and Telephone Services, you don’t have to leave your house to do your banking. Here are a few services we provide:

  • Cover your cough and sneeze, and wash your hands after.
  • Stay at home when you are feeling sick.
  • Wash and sanitize your hands often, especially after using an ATM.
