Javian Jackson Named as Higher Up Texas’ Phase 1 Volunteer of the Year

Texas City, Texas, March 31, 2026 — AMOCO Federal Credit Union was honored to be a $5,000 sponsor at Higher Up Texas’ 5th Annual HUT Honors on Friday, March 27, with 490 guests attending, supporting an organization that is making a meaningful impact in our community.

Higher Up Texas (HUT) is dedicated to empowering youth and young adults through mentorship, life skills, and educational support—helping them build confidence and create brighter futures.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Javian Jackson, Member Engagement Specialist at AMOCO, for being named Phase 1 Volunteer of the Year—well deserved for his dedication and passion for serving others.

“Javian brings passion and empathy to everything he does. He has a unique ability to connect with students, educate them, and inspire them to become better individuals while helping them achieve their goals for the future,” said Ann Ramos, Member Engagement Manager at AMOCO."

In addition, we’re thrilled to share a repeat recognition for the AMOCO family, as Susan Bailey was also named Phase 2 Volunteer of the Year for her continued commitment to community engagement with HUT.

Congratulations to both honorees, and thank you to Higher Up Texas for an inspiring evening!
