You may skip your loan payment for 60 days.

Yes, as long as it is a qualifying loan type.

You will receive a response once your skip request has been processed. Our current processing time is 2-3 business days. However, due to the high volume of applications we are receiving, it could take up to 5 business days.

You will receive an email informing you of the approval or denial of your skip-a-pay request. The approval email(s) will contain your next loan payment due date.

It depends on how your loan payment method is currently set up.

  • If your loan payment method is set up and controlled by AMOCO as a payroll allocation or share transfer: AMOCO will advance the due date 60 days for you and there is nothing you need to do.
  • If your loan payment method is set up as an allocation (ACH origination) from another financial institution: AMOCO will pause your allocation for 60 days and automatically restart your payments after the skip period has ended. Skip requests must be received 4 days prior to your scheduled due date. If a request is received after this period, AMOCO will not be able to skip the current payment due. However, your skip will begin the following month.
  • If your loan payment method is set up and controlled by you through Bill Pay, Online Banking, our Loan Payment Center, or with another financial institution: You will need to stop the loan payment.

If you have any questions about your skip-a-pay request, please contact us online
