Checking UPS Unit

MAKING SURE UPS IS IN AUTO MODE 

*If not in AUTO the unit will not detect when the power goes out thus not able to do its intended job* If the unit is in AUTO mode the green light above READY on the front of the machine will be on. If not follow these steps:

  • Press Control (green button)
  • 2
  • Enter (X2)
  • Green light above Ready will come on

HOW TO TELL IF THE UPS IS RUNNING ON BATTERY POWER.

  • If on battery power during an outage the yellow light above ‘Battery Power’ will be on.
  • HOW TO TURN THE UPS UNIT OFF
  • Press Control (red button)
  • 1
  • Enter (X2)
  • The Green Light above READY will turn off. The unit is now OFF

CHECKING FOR AMOUNT OF CURRENT RUNTIME AVAILABLE

  • Press display (green button)
  • 1
  • Enter
  • Amount of runtime will be displayed in minutes

CHECKING FOR FULL LOAD %

  • Press Display
  • 1
  • 6
  • Enter
  • % full load will be displayed

CHECKING FOR ALARMS ON UNIT

**If there had been an alarm on the unit the red light above ALARM will be on**
